AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education has created a job portal for all Engineering Graduates across the country who completed their graduation under the AICTE approved Engineering Colleges.(see steps for registering the job portal)This portal is also created for the companies, who can register and recruit the students registered in this portal.
The portal allows students/companies to access and upload the profiles of each other. Depending on the vacancy and suitability of the candidates, the companies would invite them to online tests followed by personal interview.
The job portal will be a boon to students in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, where recruiters hardly visit, said an industry source. The portal, being the first-of-its-kind initiative, would encounter stiff competition once it got popularised.

Steps for Registering on the AICTE Job Portal
Step 1 : Get your Institute's Unique ID. CLICK HERE and find your colleges Unique ID. Press CTRL+F and type the first word of your college and your cursor will point your college. Note down your colleges Unique ID.
Step 2 : Get Student ID. CLICK HERE to create your Unique Student ID. It will generate the ID only if you upload the correct information.
Step 3 : Create Student Profile and Upload Curriculum Vittae (CV) Details. CLICK HERE to create your student profile and CLICK HERE to upload your curriculum vittae, CV details.
Step 4 : Search for Job and Job Postings. CLICK HERE for searching for the job according to your graduation/degree. CLICK HERE to see the job posting for your profile.
